memtale never sends you a notification. It leaves things where you will find them.

Private

Nobody reads this. It is not scanned, sold, shown to anyone, or used to train anything.

  • Every entry, photograph and voice note is encrypted before it is stored, with a key kept apart from the database and its backups.
  • You sign in with a passkey. There is no password to leak, guess or reuse.
  • Take everything with you whenever you like, as plain files that open without memtale.

The honest trade

The server holds the key. That is what lets search and Look back work, and lets us get you back in if you lose every device. It also means you are trusting us not to look. We don't, and nothing here is built to.
